Nikki Talley in Florida (No Snow!)
Perhaps you saw some of Nikki Talley’s posts before Christmas, where she was writing this such as, “Snowy update. Still no power so we’ve moved to the cozy basement (where the woodstove is located) so we’re all in one room.”
THAT’S why you come to Florida. We suspect it was tour manager Eva who told Nikki Talley and Jason Sharp to get out of the cold and into the sun. Talley and Sharp played a series of shows in Florida before the new year, and they have eight more left here in January, beginning tonight, Friday, January 11th, at Woodwright Brewing in Dunedin and then a matinee show at The Ale and The Witch Saturday. They will continue to hop all over the state, with the last show slated for The Independent in Tampa (we’re making that one!).
The Asheville duo will once again grace the stages at Suwannee Spring Reunion at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park March 21-24. Talley sings and plays guitar and clawhammer banjo. Sharp plays guitars and bass. They offer beautiful folk and Americana. Eva keeps them in line and helps with setup and breakdown.
