My Face is Still Melted – The Marcus King Band Live
The Marcus King Band just melted over 1,000 faces at A&R Music Bar with the help of Columbus, Ohio, locals George Barrie Band. Nearly three hours of unstoppable rock and roll and blues were fueled by subversive guitar solos, funky bass, exorbitant drums, and riveting synth. Last night was a celebration of all things that rock and roll and jam music should be. Both bands’ fare exceeded my expectations.
Setlists were there as nothing more than a prop. The limitless chemistry on stage flowed effortlessly through the crowd and into our souls. If you like The Allman Brothers, Tedeschi Trucks Band, and Warren Haynes, you know what I’m talking about. The musicians worked together to create a one of a kind show for one of the most memorable nights of music in recent memory.
