Flockers, Rejoice! Pigeons Playing Ping Pong on Winter/Spring Tour
Get ready, all you Flockers! Pigeons Playing Ping Pong have a very busy winter schedule of High-Energy Psychedelic Funk ahead, rolling into spring and then festival season. They begin with a pair of shows at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park with Mungion also on the bill, (Thursday and Friday, January 24th & 25th). Their show Saturday at The Capitol in Port Chester with Mihali of Twiddle is a sell-out, but you can watch it live!
If you want to talk about totally funkified insanity, how about nine dates together with The Fritz, those Asheville funkmeisters? That’s deeper than deep. Their first show together is in Charlottesville at The Jefferson Theater, and from there they hit Norfolk, Asheville, Raleigh, and The Charleston Pour House before four more dates in Florida.
PPPP have eight dates paired with Mungion and another six with Cycles. They have six dates with Twiddle on the Road to Red Rocks, culminating, naturally, at Red Rocks!
They will support moe. for two nights at Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas and The String Cheese Incident for two more at Mardi Gras World in New Orleans, and their festival calendar is filling up, with Summer Camp Music Festival, Backwoods at Mulberry Mountain, Electric Forest, Peach Music Festival, and High Sierra.
And of course PPPP will once again host Domefest, their very own festival, at Marvin’s Mountaintop in Masonville, West Virginia!
