Welcome to Rockville Puts the Pedal to the Metal with Its 2019 Lineup Announcement
Welcome To Rockville just released its full 2019 lineup for the ninth installment of this heavy-on-the-metal festival, and the ’90s are strong with this one. To be held from May 3 –5 at Metropolitan Park in Jacksonville, Florida, the festival will feature alternative hard rock gods and headliners Korn, Tool, Rob Zombie, Evanescence, Shinedown, The Prodigy, Incubus, and Bring Me The Horizon.
Fans will also be thrilled to learn that heavy metal legends Judas Priest will be making their debut at Rockville when they join the headliners on Saturday. Also on the bill for the multi-day event will be The Cult, Chevelle, Flogging Molly, Papa Roach, Tom Morello, The Struts and more.
It seems the artists are just as excited as the fans for what’s to come, including Rob Halford, lead singer for Judas Priest, who will be playing selections off their latest and 18th studio album Firepower at the festival. “Judas Priest are primed and ready to unleash new Firepower with full metal fury on the USA again as we are one of the headliners at Welcome To Rockville in Jacksonville, Florida! The Priest is back!” Halford said in a press release.
General Admission and VIP passes as well as hotel and camping packages go on sale on Friday, December 7th, at 12 p.m. EST and are available by visiting the festival’s website. Click on the links below for more information
