Phish at MSG? Who Woulda Thunk It? Riviera Maya, Too!
Guess who’s doing their New Year’s run at Madison Square Garden? Again. For the eleventh time. And their 57th, 58th, 59th, and 60th shows.
Yes, the remarkable Phish are back again for four more sold-out nights at MSG December 28-31. The quartet had their first two NY runs there in 1997 and 1998, then returning in 2002. They returned in 2009 and have made the Garden their home every New Year’s since except 2014.
Here are some more fun statistics about Phish at MSG (taken from the inter webs, so we’ll gladly correct errors!):
13 shows from 1994 to 2002
26 shows from 2009 to 2016
17 shows in 2017 (remember the Baker’s Dozen?)
Don’t have tickets for this year’s shows? You can list and watch!
LivePhish returns to New York at the end of the year to celebrate New Year’s Eve with a sold-out four night run at Madison Square Garden, beginning Friday, December 28th through Monday, December 31st. All four shows will be webcast live at webcast.livephish.com.
The New Year’s Run will be available in 4K as well as 1080p HD and Standard Def. A multi-night pass is available. If you’ve got alternate New Year’s Eve plans, you can still purchase the LivePhish Webcasts and watch them within a few days from your Stash. Order today.
Phish will play three nights at Riviera Maya in Quintana Roo, Mexico, February 21-23.
We’ll have to wait to see what they have in store for the remainder of 2019, especially planning on a much drier Curveball-type event!
