What’s New For Bellwether Festival in 2019
Bellwether Festival is returning to Waynesville, Ohio, with some awesome new updates and perks. Bellwether Fest made its debut last year, featuring a lineup of alternative and indie rock giants including The Flaming Lips, Dr. Dog, Local Natives and MGMT. The crowd was made up primarily of music festival champions, and the vibes were nothing but positive. This intimate music festival was held in August of 2018 at Renaissance Park, where an annual renaissance fair is also held (hence the name). You can’t ask for a cooler location to have a camping music festival. Last year, Bellwether Fest didn’t take full advantage of the spectacular grounds that they had access to, but things are changing for Bellwether in 2019.
What’s New for Bellwether Fest in 2019?
Bellwether Fest has some awesome changes happening this year. One that everyone should be excited about is the addition of rock ‘n’ roll jousting. You read that right. Bellwether Fest says, “You’ll have to see it and hear it to believe it.” We can’t wait. In addition to rock-fueled jousting, they’re truly going to embrace the amazing grounds on which Bellwether takes place. From turkey legs to ale and wild costumes, the renaissance will truly be alive at Bellwether Fest.
Tickets were already fairly priced last year, especially for a camping festival. This year they have lowered the cost of tickets and even increased the size of their basic and XL campsites. All campers will even have in-and-out privileges, which is perfect for grabbing some additional beverages or food to enjoy while resting under the stars. Can’t make it both days? Don’t worry, Bellwether Fest has created one-day, any-day tickets, allowing you to attend when you can. We are eagerly anticipating the lineup for Bellwether; we expect it to drop in mid to late spring.
Bellwether Fest will take place on August 9-10. Tickets are currently on sale and at the cheapest price they will be all year. Grab your tickets now and check out our photo recap from 2018 below!
