Nikki Talley: Her Wonderful Road-Tested Music Still Shimmers
Apparently, the van that Nikki Talley and husband Jason Sharp use to drive to 150-200 gigs a year is pushing 300,000 miles. The duo offer up some of the sweetest folk and Americana music you could hope to hear. Her Facebook page says that she “sings her boots off, plays acoustic guitar as well as her mountain clawhammer banjo while hubby Jason Sharp plays leads on an ole ’57 Gibson LG-2 & also plays bass and sings harmony.” We wholeheartedly concur!
The Asheville couple are back on the road this month with appearances this weekend at Fall Acoustic Getaway, with Suwannee Roots Revival and Bass and Grass the following two weekends before a couple of LuLu’s shows. Their tour manager Eva is pictured here in the kitchen:
