The Heavy Pets Visit Dunedin Brewery, Play Funky Biscuit’s 7th Anniversary Celebration
The Heavy Pets, South Florida’s acknowledged jam masters, are taking a quick run this weekend, followed by a special show the following week at home. The Pets, whose fourth studio album Strawberry Mansion was released this spring to great critical acclaim, have been zipping around Florida and the country since 2005, and they show no signs of slowing down.
This coming Thursday and Friday, July 19th and 20th, The Low Five, Dunedin Brewery and The Heavy Pets present a two-night run, followed by a Saturday show at Beachside Tavern in New Smyrna Beach. The show on Thursday, July 26th, marks the 7th anniversary of The Funky Biscuit in Boca Raton. Later in August, they’ll play Aisle 5 in Atlanta.
The Heavy Pets are: Jeff Lloyd – guitar/vocals; Mike Garulli – guitar/harmonica/vocals; Jim Wuest – keys/vocals; Jamie Newitt – drums/vocals; and Tony D’Amato – bass.
