New Al di Meola Tour Hits 48 Shows, 7 Months, 3 Continents

Al di Meola embarked on a 48-date tour that will span seven months and three continents, kicking it off last night in Keswick PA. The electric band plays Boston this evening with dates in the Northeast, Midwest, and Montreal. More information will be forthcoming about the acoustic band tour.

Al di Meola is recognized as one of the founders of the jazz fusion movement, having played with a veritable who’s who of musicians and performed as a member of Return to Forever with Chick Corea, Stanley Clarke, and Lenny White; the Guitar Trio with John McLaughlin and Jaco de Lucia; and Rites of Strings with Clarke and Jean-Luc Ponty.
