Pop Punk and Pancakes: BreakFest is Coming to Tennessee
Tennessee is home to great festivals such as Bonnaroo, Beale Street Music Festival, CMA Fest, Pilgrimage Festival, etc., etc., etc.; the list goes on and on. The Volunteer State has a multitude of great festivals, and this June they are adding BreakFEST to the repertoire.
BreakFEST is a homegrown festival organized by local Nashville bands to bring together the surprisingly strong punk scene in the area for food and fun. BreakFEST has a good number of local sponsors that are including food and drink for the day with the purchase of a ticket. As a local, I can say with certainty that this should be a brunch to mosh about.
Combine awesome food, Franklin’s awesome Factory venue, and great bands like New Found Glory, Bayside, Hot Rod Circuit and more, and you have a recipe for excellence. If you are still bumming around town from ‘Roo or just have a hankering for some awesome jams (pun intended), then be sure to be there this June when BreakFEST kicks off!
