Beale Street Music Festival Lineup Has Dropped!
Beale Street Music Festival dropped their lineup this morning, and, BOY, ARE WE EXCITED over here at MusicFestNews. To be honest, BSMF has always been an exciting thing for me. Having grown up in Tennessee, I know it always marked the beginning of summer, and now as an adult it marks a wonderful music festival.
This year’s lineup is stacked from where I’m standing, with big names like Jack White, Queens of the Stone Age, Alanis Morissette, Logic, Odessa…. I could go on for days! But it only takes three days to enjoy BSMF. Housed in Memphis, right by the edge of the Mississippi River, Beale Street Music Festival is a city festival with an awesome view.
One thing I will say in warning, however, is that the festival tends to be a soggy one, often referred to as Memphis in Mud during my youth. Pack a pair of boots and bring a thick towel if you plan on sitting down; otherwise the ground might leave your clothes soaked. Remember, a little mud never hurt anyone; just dance it off like this girl!
The rest of BSMF is pretty standard music festival fare, with a good range of shopping options and foods ranging from interesting and gourmet to county fair style. Pro tip: pick up a lemonade cup day one and use it all weekend. It is worth it. Lockers are available on site inside the festival gates if you want/need one to stash purchases or rain gear while you are running between the three stages.
