Miami Music Week Highlight: A Legendary Night for b2b DJing
Every once in a while we begin to talk about those moments that happened at a legendary show. Like the moment when a DJ premieres a song for the first time or when they bring out a couple unexpected friends. Although no new music dropped, one of those nights recently occurred last week during Miami Music Week at Deadbeats Goes Off The Deep End.

This event got the Miami Music Weekend off to a good start on Thursday for thousands of raving fans. It went on in the heart of Wynwood, hosted by powerhouse acts Zeds Dead and Jauz. The large warehouse in the heart of Miami’s Art District was the perfect place to get wild with a night full of crazy performances that went until 5 AM. It was a night full of headline-worthy DJs playing side by side, showing how fun it is for the DJs performing on stage. All the acts were tossing the baton on nonstop filthy drops with b2b sets from Mija, Ghastly and NGHTMRE and the likes of Herobust, Troyboi, and Grandtheft. The top-of-the-bill performers Zeds Dead and Jauz jumped in on a couple instances and dropped their own headline sets while down here in Miami.
This event showed promise for the rest of the week. As the weekend continued, we saw all the acts from this show continue to headline other shows like the OWSLA Pop-Up, Club E11even, and even throughout the weekend at Ultra Music Festival. If you want to relive the magic of the b2b madness that happened during Miami Music Week, check the set posted below that happened at Ultra with the OWSLA All-Stars, which includes DJs from Thursday night Ghastly and Mija. Similar to their name at Ultra, Deadbeats Off The Deep End became the All-Star show for Miami Music Week 2017.
