Roosevelt Collier & Unlimited Devotion Perform the Grateful Dead!
There isn’t much that Roosevelt Collier cannot do. He works with The Lee Boys and his own trio (with Matt Lapham and Anthony AC Cole). He does Hendrix shows and funk shows and has played with Widespread Panic, The String Cheese Incident, The Allman Brothers, and just about every jam band on the scene. He makes beautiful music with The Travelin’ McCourys.
And he can jam some nasty Grateful Dead. After headlining the 1904 Music Hall fifth anniversary free block party in Jacksonville with Unlimited Devotion, Roosevelt and UD bring Shakedown Street to Tampa Sunday evening for an early show (8-11 PM) at The Crowbar, presented by MoonGoddess Entertainment LLC.
It’s a Tribute to The Grateful Dead featuring Roosevelt Collier with Unlimited Devotion! But wait! There’s more! Jim Wuest, keyboard player extraordinaire for the Heavy Pets AND a member of another fine Dead tribute band, Funkin’ Grateful, will join in the fun.
Unlimited Devotion are: John Zias, lead guitar & vocals; Al Zilinsky, rhythm guitar & vocals; Joe Falconeri, bass guitar; and Dan DeGregory, drums, lead vocals. These guys stroll towards the funky, jazzy side of things with real flair.
It starts earlier than most shows at the Crowbar. GET THERE ON TIME!
