Joe Marcinek Band Hits Key West, Ft. Lauderdale, Dunedin
That Hoosier is back again. Except that, by now, Joe Marcinek is probably claiming dual citizenship, given how many times he visits the Sunshine State. He has four dates scheduled with yet another incredible collective (plus an artist at large appearance).
Marcinek is a great guitar player who has an amazing ability to gather world-class musicians to join him in a band for two, three, maybe half a dozen shows. He loves playing in Florida, and Florida loves him right back. Drummer Jason Hann of String Cheese Incident has been here with him before, as has Particle’s keyboard wizard, Steve Molitz. The new kid is Al Ingram, bass player for Yo Mama’s Big Fat Booty Band. And Juanjamon , the tenor sax and EWI player who leads the Juanjamon Band, will join all but the Friday show in Ft. Lauderdale.
This video from January features the current band except for Al Ingram. Tony Hall (Dumpstaphunk) was with Marcinek for that run.
