Hangout Festival Hooplah
When you finish a long spring semester of college or decide to take that much needed summer vacation, where do most people choose to spend their time? The beach, of course! And what better way to bring in the summer heat and to make that summer vacation one to remember than to spend your time on the beach ANDDDD listen to some awesome music? Well, be looking forward to sweet summer kick-off, Hangout Music Festival, located in Gulf Shores, Alabama, May 19th-21st. Did I mention it’s on the beach?
With a lineup that will blow off those bikini bottoms and make you kick off those flip-flops, Hangout is never short of amazing. Headliners this year include bands such as Mumford and Sons and even the ever-so-fabulous Chance the Rapper, and believe me, you “don’t want no problem” with him. Ha, see what I did there? And even though they look as if they’re lower on the food chain, if you have not heard of the dynamic duo Snakeships, who actually teamed up with Chance The Rapper on the hit “All My Friends,” make sure you check them out when you hit the sand, and put them on your “Artists to See” list, because, let’s face it, everyone needs one of those.
If you see your favorite artist on that sweet lineup, or even artists that you know nothing about, take a listen, expose yourself to new music so you can enjoy them at every aspect. Expose yourselves to new music, because that silly band name you’ve never heard of could become your new Monday morning “sing in the shower” jam band. The Hangout site even gives you artists names, and lets you add them to your “favorites list.” There’s even a Hangout Music Fest Pandora playlist. There is no excuse not to be hyped about these new artists.
We’ve talked about all the sweet things that you are going to be exposed to, but where do you get your tickets?
WWW.HangoutMusicFestival.com. Go straight to the source, man. There is literally a big button that says “TICKETS.” Could it get any easier than that? The Hangout website also provides info about where to stay and how to get there; basically, if there isn’t a link for you to click on, you can email the festival providers to ask any question. There’s even a link for you to share your ideas for the festival! How awesome is that?
If I were you, there should not/could not be anywhere else that sounds more dope than being in Gulf Shores in May. Get your tan on, vibe to some cool tunes, and meet new friends all at Hangout Music Festival!
