Boston Calling Brings Incredible Lineup to New Location for 2017
Boston Calling has come a long way since its first go in 2013 at City Hall Plaza. The festival has more than outgrown the plaza and will be scaling back to one spring event instead of their usual fall & spring installments. The festival is moving to the Harvard Athletic Complex in Allston and will take place May 26-28 on the new grounds, which offer much more room for crowds, vendors and even an additional stage! It also brings the festival a bit outside of the heart of the city, which will definitely help with traveling to and from the event. Check out the rendering of the grounds below: look at all that room for dancing!
The festival organizers also hit it out of the park with their lineup this year! Headliners include Tool, Mumford & Sons and Chance the Rapper. The undercard is also stacked, bringing together artists who span multiple genres. Some highlights include Bon Iver, the xx, Weezer, Major Lazer, Solange, Cage the Elephant, Brandi Carlile, Flatbush Zombies, Mac Demarco, Modern Baseball and Strand of Oaks. There will also be a special film experience curated by Natalie Portman. You can start jamming to the lineup with our Spotify playlist, check out the full lineup below, and find pass information through their website.
