On July 2nd and 3rd of 2016, Umphrey’s McGee embarked on their first two-night headlining run of the famed Red Rocks Amphitheatre outside Denver, Colorado. The sold-out shows proved to be a milestone for Team UM, and cameras were rolling all weekend to capture the action, both on stage and off. UM is pleased to now offer you the ability to relive that weekend or experience it for the first time, with the Blu-Ray, DVD, and download release of Red. Rocks. Repeat. The double-feature concert film includes footage from both nights, clocking in at over five hours of Umphrey’s live on the Rocks. Fans will have access to a pile of unreleased, behind-the-scenes footage including candid backstage hanging, pre-show warm up, and rehearsals. Additionally, in-depth interviews with the band are seamlessly woven in and out of the film, highlighting a myriad of topics ranging from the early days of UM, band friendships, the improvisational process, songwriting, what it’s like to play Red Rocks, and more. The two-disc set was captured by TourGigs in stunning High Definition, utilizing 16 cameras over the two-night run. This is the most complete concert film UM has released to date, so buckle up; you’re in for a ride! Blu-Rays and DVDs will start shipping this Friday, November 25th.
