New Minglewood or Bust! Catskill Chill’s 2016 Lineup is Here!
Catskill Chill Music Festival has released the initial lineup for the seventh annual event, which will take place September 23rd – 25th at New Minglewood, a private summer camp in Lakewood, PA. Headlining Catskill Chill is Phish bassist Mike Gordon, featuring musicians Robert Walter, Scott Murawski, John Kimock and Craig Myers.
Playing the Chill for their first time is groundbreaking Americana quartet Greensky Bluegrass, while Renaissance man Keller Williams makes his first return to the Chill since the inaugural year with his project Keller Williams’ Grateful Grass, performing not-so-traditional bluegrass versions of Grateful Dead favorites. Electronic/funk duo Break Science will do double duty with a live band set featuring several members of Lettuce and a duo set. Also joining the lineup are Dopapod, Goldfish, Perpetual Groove, along with Deep Banana Blackout, Kung Fu, The Werks, Particle, Zach Deputy, Ryan Montbleau, Orgōne, The Nth Power, The Main Squeeze, Pink Talking Fish, TAUK, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Roosevelt Collier’s NY Get Down, Tom Hamilton’s American Babies, The Heavy Pets’ Tribute to the ‘80s and many more. This is just the first phase of the lineup, and if it’s already this good you know there are many more treats in store.
