LOCKN’ Additions & Day Schedules Have Arrived
LOCKN’ may still be a few months (and a whole festival season) away, but that shouldn’t stop you from getting excited by the great additions and day-to-day schedule announced today. After announcing an amazing initial lineup and then great additions, we’ve learned that Peter Wolf (from J. Geils Band), The Wailers, and Khruangbin will also be joining the party. Along with the lineup additions, festival organizer Dave Frey shared the day schedules, which seem pretty great already.
Thursday will be a late-start day to accomodate the crowds arriving and give them time to settle in. Then Vulfpeck, Umphrey’s McGee and Ween will get the weekend started. There will also be late-night sets from EOTO and Joe Russo’s Almost Dead. Friday has an incredible lineup that features Turkuaz, Charles Bradley & His Extraordinaries, Peter Wolf, Ween and two sets from Phish. Saturday is packed with everyone from Twiddle to Brandi Carlile and My Morning Jacket, then Sunday bring us Gary Clarke Jr., Chris Robinson Brotherhood and The Wailers before Phish closes out the weekend with another two sets. All in all, LOCKN’ ’16 is shaping up to be a focal point of this summer’s festival season. Tickets are available now, and you can expect even more artist additions in June.
