Catch Voodoo Visionary Live on the Radio & Live in Concert
Improvisational funk and dance grooves are on the move once again, courtesy of Atlanta’s Voodoo Visionary. This outstanding quintet was the subject of a MusicFestNews feature last August and a review in April and one in September. They are currently touring Florida and Georgia, with more dates to follow and several festival appearances already confirmed.
Tuesday, March 29th, the band will perform live in the studio at WMNF 88.5 Community Conscious Radio Tampa. They will be on In the Groove, the jamband show hosted by Thor Bendickson and Wayne Tagle. The show runs from 10 to midnight, and their set will likely start just after 10 and run for an hour or so. You can listen live on the radio or online. Also, the show will be archived for a week, so you can listen any time through next Tuesday with this link.
Wednesday, Voodoo Visionary travels to St. Matthew’s Tavern in Orlando, then pairs with the Groove Orient at the Dunedin Brewery on Thursday. Friday, they join Trae Pierce & the T-Stone Band and Shane Meade & the Sound at the inaugural Little Manatee April Fool’s Jam Fest hosted by WMNF. And Saturday they head for the Panhandle and the Okaloosa RevFest bash on Ft. Walton Beach, courtesy of New Earth Army.
The following weekend, the boys hit Athens, Statesboro and Savannah, with appearances at Sweetwater 420 Fest, Alphapalooza and the Purple Hatter’s Ball on the horizon.
Be sure to catch them on their tour; you’ll be very glad you did!
