The Peach Music Festival Will Return to Montage Mountain in 2015
For the 4th year in a row, Peach Music Festival will be coming to The Pavilion at Montage Mountain in Scranton, Pennsylvania during the weekend of August 13-16. This is the only festival on the east coast that is the Allman Brothers Band inspired and curated festival, but it is also the only east coast festival that has a full-fledge water park inside the festival. That’s right! You can listen to your favorite bands while floating down a lazy river or flying down a waterslide. Besides the in-festival water park attractions, the 2015 installment of The Peach has a lot to offer!
2015 will mark the first year since the festivals inception that the Allman Brothers Band will not be preforming together. The band retired after their final farewell tour this past fall. This shouldn’t detour any ABB fans from hitting this festival up since more then a few members of The Allman Brothers will take the stage including Greg Allman headlining, Guitarist/singer Warren Haynes with Railroad Earth and drummer Butch Trucks who will bring some ‘very special friends’ to the stage. The rest of the splendid lineup brings a lot to the 4-day extravaganza. Some highlights include Santana, Bob Weir with Billy & the Kids, Lotus, Old Crowe Medicine Show, Trombone Shorty & New Orleans Avenue, Beats Antique, Papadosio, Rusted Root, and Twiddle and The Werks. This diverse lineup connects the laid back daytime environment to the late-night party scene. There is something for everyone this year at The Peach. Tickets and camping passes are available and can be purchased through the official Peach Music Festival site. See you on the mountain!
