The Fritz: Irma Make-up Dates, New Year’s Run and January Dates
When we last checked in with The Fritz, they were releasing new album Natural Mind. Then, they were set to embark on the Natural Mind tour, beginning with shows in Orlando, Jacksonville and Tampa starting September 7th.
Irma had other ideas. With the unpredictability of such a storm, it made no sense for the Asheville boys to risk driving to Florida. Fortunately, most made out pretty well here in the Sunshine State, but we sure missed us some Fritz!
In theory, today would be the next-to-last date on the tour, second of three shows at The Green Parrot in Key West. The Fritz were pleased to announce that the make-up dates for those three shows would be this coming Thursday, Friday and Saturday (December 14-16).
And there is more — a lot more.
Their New Year’s run includes a December 29th date with the James Brown Dance Party at The 8×10 in Baltimore and then NYE in New York City The Gramercy Theater, also with JBDP.
And The Fritz also announced dates for January (and one for February). If the world explodes January 12th, you’ll know why — The Fritz AND Turkauz at The Orange Peel in Asheville. That’s just ridiculous right there.
