There was great excitement when it was announced that Fool’s Paradise would take over the magnificent St. Augustine Amphitheatre for two days (April 1st and 2nd, obviously!). The amphitheatre is nestled in a 16-acre section of Anastasia State Park, a beautiful gem right on the Atlantic shoreline. The facility itself is a state-of-the-art performing arts venue which has hosted hundreds of shows to the delight of rock, funk and jam fans from all over the South.
And now The Fool’s Paradise daily lineups are here! Friday, April 1, will feature sets from Lettuce, GRiZ, and Goldfish, followed by late-night performances from Vulfpeck and Break Science. Saturday, April 2, will feature a second round of Lettuce along with Chris Robinson’s Soul Revue featuring George Porter, Jr. (The Meters), Ivan Neville (Dumpstaphunk), Nikki Glaspie (The Nth Power), Eric Krasno (Lettuce/Soulive), Neal Casal (CRB) & The Shady Horns, plus Vulfpeck, The Nth Power, and late-night performances from Goldfish and Fools of Funk, an exciting supergroup TBA.
There will be more than just music at Fool’s Paradise. In addition to the amazing music, there will be artist-led excursions, musical workshops, yoga, and activities just steps from the ocean. Artist excursions, group activities, and more will be announced in the coming weeks.
